The Morris Island Lighthouse in South Carolina is undergoing some renovations that should help protect it from further erosion.  For quite some time, the Morris Island Lighthouse has been surrounded by water.  Taylor Brothers Marine Construction is installing a wall around the lighthouse.  Some pictures from the construction project can be found here.
